How far do I have to cycle?
We’re asking law firms to cycle as many km as they can between 12 and 13 October to have a chance of winning the Tour de Law 2022 champion title.
Each firm will have 100 fifteen-minute static bike cycling slots to fill. Slots are only 15 minutes long and colleagues can sign up for as many, or as few, as they like, making the event accessible for both amateurs and your most competitive cycling enthusiasts.
When does it start?
The challenge starts at 8am on Wednesday 12 October and will end promptly at 4pm on Thursday 13 October.
How do I take part?
Contact us on tourdelaw@breastcancernow.org and we will help you sign up your company.
Are we taking part in teams?
This year you’re competing as a whole office and there are many ways your colleagues can get involved. There are 100 cycling slots, each 15 mins long. Colleagues can sign up to cycle as many times as they like. Encourage everyone to get behind your team and sponsor a cyclist, ask your firm to match what you raise, and get cracking with some fundraising on the side.
How will we receive the static bikes?
We will arrange for two static bikes to be delivered and collected by an external company before and after the event. We will need confirmation of a nominated person, contact details and an address a few weeks prior to the event.
Upon the bike’s arrival, please spend 5 minutes checking the bike to make sure everything is working correctly. We must alert the bike supplier of any faults within 6 hours of delivery in order to ensure a speedy replacement.

This year marks 10 years of Tour de Law. That’s 10 years of supporting world-class breast cancer research, vital support services, and showing other law firms what you’re made of. We’ve come a long way - raising an incredible £1 million so far. But we can’t stop there.
If your team raised £10,000 in celebration of our big year, we could fund 40 days of research into breast cancer. And every day in the lab brings us closer to making life-saving breakthroughs.
